What is the difference between insect‑proof tent net and ordinary insect net?
Ordinary insect nets are mostly roll materials that require on‑site cutting and assembly. The insect‑proof tent net is a ready‑to‑erect tent‑style finished product with reinforced edge binding and pre‑set fixing points. It allows fast setup of independent protection zones for small‑scale planting. Roll‑type insect nets are also available for large‑scale greenhouse projects.
Can sizes be customized? What is the maximum fabric width?
Custom length and width are available, subject to production limits for different specifications. Share your requirements and we will propose feasible solutions. We also offer custom edging, tie straps and OEM branded packaging.
How long does it last outdoors? What factors affect its service life?
Service life depends on UV additive formulation and local solar UV intensity. High‑UV grade is recommended for high‑sunlight regions; service life will be longer in shaded conditions. We can recommend suitable formulations based on your location.
Will the tent net affect crop light penetration and ventilation?
Proper mesh size maintains good light transmission and air permeability while blocking pests. Higher mesh counts deliver better insect exclusion yet slightly reduce light transmittance. We provide mesh selection advice based on your target crops.
Can I get samples for testing?
Samples are available. Sample fee and freight can be negotiated for your on‑site testing of insect‑blocking performance, tensile strength and weathering resistance.
